It has taken longer than we planned but we have finally been approved for adoption again with LDS Family Services. Most people don't know that for every baby that becomes available for adoption, there are 6 or 7 families hoping to adopt the baby. The statistics are not in our favor but we feel confident that our children will get to us somehow.
We found Isabel because my cousin felt inspired to share our story with a birthmother. We are hopeful that another friend or family member can help us make a connection with our next birth mother. Here's a link to our profile, http://www.providentliving.org/ses/birthmother/viewsingleprofile/0,12272,2133-1-5321-1-1,00.html
Please share it freely!

Oh Jen that is so exciting! I hope it all works out for you. Having two is wonderful. I will share your story if I ever come across someone that could help you out! I can't think of better parents than you and Kelly.
Jen- i LOVE the profile and know the effort that goes into writing something like that. As we, too, are working on the paperwork for child number 2, I can appreciate the thoughts and feelings you are probably having right now- I wish you the best of luck and hope that your next baby will find you...i'll be anxious to hear all about it. Children who come through adoption are truly a miracle and a blessing from God. Love you!
Hi Jennifer, I am taking the same GWC class as you through Distance Studies, but the neatest thing in common is that my sister-in-law Che Whitman Tibbets is one of your friends. She told me about you and I have really enjoyed your blog.
Nice to meet you, Julie G.
Julie, It's nice to meet you! That's so funny that Che is your sister-in-law. Thanks for saying "Hi."
Jennifer
Jen!! Wow, it's been too long! I've been reading up on your life ;) I read this post and noted the date...any news since then? I can't believe the whole website for adoptive parent's profiles; that is so cool! I'd love to catch up some more and I'm so happy to see you and your family! Love, Tami (Larson) Wallace
Tami! I'm so glad you found me! How did you find me? How do I find you? I didn't see an email address or anything in your comment. I'd love to catch up.
Jen
I found you from my sis-n-law's page and then your sister's page! How cool is that? I'm on facebook under Tamara Wallace and also have a blog:
tamnfam.blogspot.com
My email is khiandi@hotmail.com
It'll be great to catch up!
That's so wonderful. Josh and I went through LDS Family Services to begin the adoption process, before I found out I was pregnant with my first (it was a long journey!). You are a wonderful mom, and I know that from seeing all the work you are going through to educate/improve yourself and set a good example, and provide the very best you can for your cute daughter. I'm so glad I was finally able to meet you at Face to Face, and I hope we can see each other again soon and have more time to chat. :)
Wow. Thanks Laura. That is really sweet. I really do look forward to spending some time with you and getting to know you better!
Jen
