Kelly's Birthday

We celebrated Kelly's birthday Monday. Once again he asked for a soccer cake. I was bored with blue and white so I changed up the colors but it looks more like a basketball than anything else. Isabel wanted to make a candy poster for Daddy like the ones she's seen me make for Young Women. She's fascinated by a book called, "And the Dish Ran Away With the Spoon" which is based on a nursery rhyme. So we wrote our own version of a silly rhyme for Kelly's candy poster. Isabel memorized it and has a little dance to go with it.

  1. Love it! Isabelle is so big! I wish she and James could play again. I bet they'd have a lot more fun now that they're older. They could pretend a little more and things like that. Happy birthday Kelly!

  2. Happy Birthday, Kelly. That's so cute that Isabel wanted to make a poster. We had something fun happen last week, Judi and Charron and Luke and Emma came up to visit!! It was so fun. I just posted two pictures of it on my blog. Judi actually mentioned that book while she was up. I'm going to have to check it out.
