Blueberries for Sal, by Robert McCloskey is one of our favorite books. We got to live the story a few weeks ago when we went blueberry picking at a nearby farm. We even took a break to sit down in the dirt between the rows of blueberries to read the story.

This is one of our favorite books too. It would have been such fun to actually pick blueberries. I don't think I have ever seen actual blueberry bushes. That is always so fun when you can bring a story to life like this. Reading that book right there while picking blueberries would be so memorable. Now every time she reads that book she will remember that trip.
